Due to my success with my first Assimilation build 4 months ago, I have created/updated a much more effective build.
The old one can be found here. There are a few differences between each, such as support, dex, assimilation, etc.
Though the first one had a 91.1% with 461 wins. This one has a 93.7% with 460 wins.
Level 33 Required
Type of Build: High %
Equipment:
Kringle Bot Staff (Enhanced +8 Dexterity)
Imperial ACP (K)
Energy Eggzooka
Space Warrior E (+8 Dexterity)
Gamma Bot
2 Heal Boosters (if necessary)
Stats:
Health: 94
Energy: 50
Strength: 45 +8
Dexterity: 46 +45
Technology: 45 +13
Support: 45 +28
Skill Tree:
4-3-1
4-1-1
5-7-0
9-0-0
Field Medic: Recovers 51 Health Points
Defense Matrix: Adds 26 Defense Points
Technician: Recovers/Adds 39 Technology Points
Malfunction: Steals 36 Technology Points
Strategy:
Main Strategy: Use Malfunction, Assimilate, Bazooka, Heal or Use Energy Attack on Gamma Bot, Repeat.
Versing Bounties: The main strategy will work for focus BH's. For strength BH's, only use Defense Matrix after smoked. Using Assimilation is necessary/recommended to stop Massacre. They are not much of a problem anymore, throughout my 490 battles, I only lost one to a strength bounty.
Versing Mercenaries: There are currently 3 effective builds for Mercs: Support, Tank, Strength. A support build is easily defeated with assimilation, even if it does not hit. Though watch out for the lucky factors. To defeat a tank takes time and strategy. The Malfunction will not always suffice to weaken their Tech, but following the main strategy should work. Prevent them from healing or using Bunker Buster using Assimilation. Boosters are always handy. Now the hardest build to defeat is Strength Mercenary. If you go first, automatically Assimilate. This prevents the Berserker, if blocked your chances of winning are low. After that Malfunction or Heal. (This depends on whether you were stunned or not.) If everything goes as planned you should be victorious in 2-3 rounds. Everything is different if you go second. If you are stunned, then you're dead. If not, Assimilate and then heal. Malfunction next and use Bazooka afterwards. They should be dead by now.
Versing Mages: You might only have a problem with Support Mages. The rest of the builds can be beaten, this is from my experience since I only lost to two Mages the whole day. If you go first, follow the main strategy, but use Technician when Malfed, though this may be an option for some players. If you go second, your opponent would have most likely Malfed first, so use Technician. Then either heal or use malfunction, depends on your health. Sometimes it really does depend on who goes first, if you both have equally powerful weapons and build.
"It might look dumb to use Assimilation on a Mage but it will work if used at a precise time."
Weaknesses:
Strength Mercenaries as explained in the strategy section.
